Nishimura & Asahi Receives “L-boshi” Certification Based on the Law on the Promotion of the Participation and Advancement of Women in the Workplace

Nishimura & Asahi received a three-star rating, the highest, under the “L-boshi” certification system, awarded by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to companies that implement outstanding initiatives to promote the participation and advancement of women in the workplace.

Under the L-boshi certification system, companies that formulate and submit an action plan based on the Law for the Promotion of Women's Activities are evaluated according to five criteria: “recruitment;” “continued employment;” “working hours and other working arrangements;” “ratio of female managers;” and “various career courses.” The companies are then ranked across three levels. Moving forward, we aim to promote the participation and advancement of women and strive as an organization where diverse members can thrive based on mutual respect for diverse values and work styles.
