Masashi is our Beijing Office Representative. He has dedicated more than a decade of his career to advising Japanese companies doing business throughout China.

As a Japanese attorney, Masashi has a unique background of having been born and growing up in Shanghai. For many years, he has supported Japanese companies in their entry into China, day-to-day operations, withdrawal from China, etc. In addition, he provides legal services related to China’s information laws (Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law and so forth) and national security legislation in China (Export Control Law, Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law and so on), as well as compliance issues concerning Chinese subsidiaries of Japanese companies.
